Why I Created Vigor Archive
The Lineage: Roots of the Tiger
Traditional Chinese martial arts was never simply a performance to me. It was a disciplined system for understanding movement, breathing, structure, and the body.
For five years, I studied Fujian Tiger-Style (Hu Zun Quan) . Along the way, I studied the 360 traditional meridian points and the traditional “Midnight-Midday” energy flow .
In 1987, my master introduced me to Internal Qi Circulation . At the time, I regarded these practices primarily as part of martial arts training. I did not yet know how deeply they would influence the way I understood my own body later in life.
The Collapse
After 30, business gradually took over my life. Years of pressure, work, and neglect eventually caught up with me.
At 45, I went through a period of serious health problems, including hypertension, a myocardial infarction, and a brain infarct.
My physical condition changed dramatically. I could barely walk ten steps without gasping for air. At the same time, I also experienced erectile dysfunction . For someone who had spent years studying traditional movement and internal practices, this was a deeply personal turning point.
The experience forced me to return to the traditional methods I had learned years earlier and look at them from a completely different perspective.
The Breakthrough: The Incident of the Ball
One day, while getting out of my car, a stray ball struck the top of my foot. The sudden pain brought my attention immediately to a traditional meridian pathway I had studied for years.
Within my traditional framework, I understood the experience as a sign that my Liver Meridian pathway required attention.
I returned to the targeted clearing practices I had learned through martial arts, acupoint work, and traditional body awareness.
Over the following days, I noticed a significant change in how I felt. That experience became an important personal lesson: sometimes the knowledge we learn early in life only becomes meaningful when life gives us a reason to look at it again.
From Personal Practice to a Practical System
I began sharing these practices with people around me, learning from their experiences and feedback. Over time, I refined and simplified the methods, gradually developing a practical system for men and women over 30.
CORE RESTORATION
